REFLEXOLOGY
And so much more…
Oran Aviv

What is Reflexology?
Reflexology can be used to help restore and maintain the body’s
natural equilibrium.  This gentle therapy encourages the body to
work naturally to restore its own healthy balance.

Reflexology has been shown to be effective for:
  • Back Pain
  • Migraine
  • Infertility
  • Arthritis
  • Sleep disorders
  • Hormonal imbalances
  • Sports injuries
  • Digestive disorders
  • Stress-related conditions

Reflexology does not claim to cure, diagnose or prescribe.
Reflexology  has a relaxing effect and thus reduces stress.   Once stress
is reduced the body is able to function better and heal itself.

Reflexology can be done on the reflex points of the hands, feet, ears
and face.

Reflexology is a gentle treatment that is appropriate for everyone:
children and adults of every age.

  • In addition, according to the Association of Reflexologists:   http://www.reflexology.org
Modern Day Reflexology is attributed to William Fizgerald, an
American ENT physician who in the early 1900's discovered the
correlation between reflex points in the hands and feet with the whole
body.  Fitzgerald found that by working reflex points in the hands and
feet one could relieve or stop pain and improve the functions of
certain organs of the body.   Dr. Fizgerald was even able to perform
minor surgery on some of his patients without the use of an anesthetic.

Eunice Ingham, a physical therapist, is credited with the discovery
that pressure points on the human foot are situated in a mirror image
of the corresponding organs of the body and created the first Reflex
Map.

Reflexology Is a practice where
pressure is applied to feet, hands,
face and ears.  It is based on the
principal that reflex points are
related to internal organs.  By
pressing on reflex points with hand
and finger techniques, Reflexology
causes responses (relaxation) to
corresponding parts of the body.
Reflexology relaxes and allows the
body to heal itself.
